How Do All the Part of this System Fit Together?

Do You Have Apple and Android Versions of Your App?
Yes, the Apple version is ready now and the Android version is in its final testing stage.
Do I need to keep my phone in my pocket?
No. You can leave it in your bag, in the cart...or even at home. All your shots/stats will be tracked and can be transferred later.
Do I Need to "Tap" My Clubs to the Medallion Before Each Shot?
No. "Automatic shot detection" is one thing golfers love most about GameGolf KZN because you can be 100% focused on playing golf. Just choose your club and hit the ball. We'll do the rest.
Am I Able to Edit / Adjust Shots if I Need To?
Yes! GameGolf KZN is extremely accurate, but it's not perfect (yet!). If you need to remove a putt, add a penalty stroke, or you don't want a 7-iron chip to affect your 7-iron distance average, you can edit your shots, hole locations, etc., during or after your round.
Will the sensors fit ALL my grips, including my putter?
Yes! As long as there is a standard-size hole in the end of your grip, the sensors will screw right in.
Can I use GameGolf KZN at the practice range or on a golf simulator?
You can, but it will not gather useful data. GameGolf KZN tracks how you play on the course, when you are hitting real shots, in real-world situations, so you can finally see a true picture of your game and areas where you can improve.
How does it work? How do your sensors know where I hit my ball?
Our shot tracking uses extremely accurate, military-grade GPS. Because each club sensor is assigned to a specific club, GameGolf KZN can track which club was hit, where you were on the golf course when you hit it, and the distances between your shots.
Must I Have a Strong Internet / Cellular Connection for this to Work on the Golf Course?
No. Your shots will be tracked even if you have NO connection. You could even leave your phone at home and GameGolf KZN will track and store your shots to be synced later.
Can I use this without a subscription?
The very basic, on-course GPS feature will work without a subscription, but the most useful, game-improving features of GameGolf KZN (shot tracking, Smart Caddie advice, Performance Dashboard's insights, etc.) require a subscription to the GameGolf platform, and a full year of access is included with your purchase.
How Long Do the Batteries Last on the Club Sensors and the Medallion?
The club sensor batteries typically last at least two years or more (and a battery replacement tool is included). The Smart Hub Medallion will last up to 10 hours of play time, or about 2 to 2.5 18-hole rounds of golf.
